Which Smurf are you?
For the kids we have some costumes you might find obvious but others you might not have heard of. One you might already have in mind are The Smurfs. They give you a plethora of characters to choose from and can be created easily. The Harry Potter costumes are as popular as ever. If dressing like Harry isn't scary enough you may have your child try out the villain Voldemort or the Death Eater. To really make headlines with your costumes the summer blockbusters for 2012 are available now…like Wonderwoman or The Avengers classics (Ironman and the Incredible Hulk) give kids many characters to choose from.
For adults there are lots to choose from. This is your chance to be a kid again. Here are some ideas to get attention from our judges. A lot of ideas floating around the internet involve one of the many Johnny Depp characters. Alice in Wonderland costumes are big this year as well as Natalie Portman's portrayal from Black Swan. Zombies are a constant Halloween favorite and have a big revival this year. One pick sure to be a smash at Halloween parties across the country will be the Angry Birds getup. Do you have the guts to be one of the pigs?
The team category is going to be the most fun. Families get to do something as cool as showing up as The Incredibles like last year's winners. The choice of the year for couples is to dress in Royal Wedding attire as Prince William and Kate. If you are more than a twosome the Three Musketeers' have a selection based on their new movie. And remember, there is actually four of them. Video game stars Mario and Luigi are good choices to help re-live your childhood. You may go as the brothers and could add the Princess or Yoshi to your posse if need be.
