Only nine more days until the comedy show! So if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, make sure you get them today. Don’t miss out, because the lineup being featured has endless amounts of potential and you never know what will happen when these four comedians take the stage. Take a look at the careers of the other two comedians, Joey Gay and Daniel McRitchie:
Joey Gay- Gay is best known for appearing on “Last Comic Standing,” which is a competition among the best comedians in America. Gay got into the business because he says that “comedy comes naturally to me.” His style of comedy is based on his last name, his childhood, growing up in Brooklyn, and him being the younger brother of five sisters. His choice has paid off because now he performs at elite New York City nightclubs like Caroline’s on Broadway, Comedy Village, Catch a Rising Star, etc. Gay is both a stand-up comedian and an actor. He has appeared numerous times on NBC’s hit show Law and Order and MTV’s Damage Control. He’s also made a few appearances in films such as Close Strangers, Exit 8A, and Times Modern.

Daniel McRitchie- McRitchie is our returning comedian from last year and he is definitely a fan favorite. He makes his living as an insurance agent, while performing as a comedian in his spare time. His second career began in nearby Poughkeepsie, NY, at the young age of 17, when he was entered into a “funniest person” contest. After placing second in the contest, he quickly gained popularity. He believed that his size worked to his advantage, so his style was humor about both himself and his dysfunctional family. In the mid-90’s, McRitchie won the “Funniest Person in The Hudson Valley” contest, which led him to the hotspots of New York City. His own show, Smells Like Comedy, has been running locally for over ten years. Like Gay, McRitchie has had so much success that he’s been on “Last Comic Standing” as well, working with some of the best comedians around.
